In "The Art of Application Performance Testing" (O'Reilly, 2009), Intechnica Head of Performance Ian Molyneaux outlines the approach to ensuring high performance applications throughout the application lifecycle. It is available from O'Reilly, Amazon or on Kindle. The first chapter of the book was made available by EuroSTAR Software Testing Conferences in 2011, where it was one of the most popular downloads from the site that year. The eBook is available to download for free from this site by submitting the form to the right of the page.
A must read for anyone new to performance testing and especially for any project managers who don't want nightmares the night before the system goes live!
