Stone Leigh Trade Show Ordering System

Stoneleigh LogoEach year Nisa-Today’s works with members and suppliers to host an event allowing them to showcase products, share information and gather feedback. One of the key benefits of the event is the opportunity to take advantage of special offers from suppliers.

In past years, these sometimes complicated offers and deals were tracked using a paper-based system that was slow and error-prone.

Nisa-Today’s implemented a new ordering system for its network of members allowing them to order stock online through Nisa-Today’s secure system.

The initial implementation of the Oracle/Retek ordering system proved functional but difficult to use, and Nisa-Today’s commissioned Intechnica to redevelop the front end system.

Nisa-Today’s commissioned Intechnica to build an online ordering system to facilitate higher uptake of offers and more accurate ordering and reporting. Using Microsoft .Net 3, AJAX and SQL Server technologies, the Stoneleigh system is capable of capturing these important and complex orders and even automatically guides members through the ordering process to ensure they can take full advantage of the deals on offer.

The Stoneleigh site launched in March 2008 and in the first year alone more than doubled order uptake from the previous, paper-based system.

What happens when you introduce a brand new online ordering system with real-time reporting? Sales more than double and everyone is happy.
