ASOS - The online fashion store Asos.com is one of the UK’s leading online retailers and is amongst the top 10 retail websites in the UK - required to handle millions of visits per week with a large and complex site rich in content and media.
A substantial and robust load testing platform is required to generate both the volume of users and data throughput to test a website like Asos to, and beyond, its peak capacity. Intechnica’s TrafficSpike enterprise level load testing solution allowed complex and functionally rich tests, simulating the diverse behaviour of Asos’s millions of online users, to be run whilst testing up to and beyond the website’s peak data throughput.

Intechnica are providers of performance testing services for Irish Life & Permanent’s Open 24 and Business 24 online banking services which must be available to customers 24 hours a day. Performance services from Intechnica help to ensure that any planned upgrades or changes to the system do not have a negative impact on the performance or availability of this business-critical service.

Intechnica’s team of expert multi-disciplinary consultants delivered performance improvement services to assist BuyitDirect in the optimisation of several website areas including online payment, security, load balancing, advanced searching and database management to help ensure more than £100 million of product sales are processed quickly, reliably and securely.

Gigantic is an online ticketing service acting on behalf of some of the biggest names in music and entertainment. This means that their website is subject to massive fluctuations in customer traffic, so they worked with Intechnica through development and launch to ensure performance levels can be maintained even under the most extreme loads.
